Emergency Access: Urgent Help for Housing Costs & Account Issues

Who is this service for?

Clients at immediate risk (eviction, legal deadline, sudden housing cost demand).

 

What does it include?

We will:

•    Prioritise urgent case assessment

•    Provide immediate next steps or letter drafting

•    Refer to other services if needed

•    Offer crisis-focused advocacy where appropriate

Applying for Emergency Access?
To ensure fairness, we ask all clients to provide basic proof of their situation when requesting Emergency Access sessions.​

​

What you need to provide:
You must show that you are facing urgent financial risk linked to your housing costs (such as arrears, large charges or legal action).


You can provide ONE of the following for EMERGENCY ACCESS:

​

  • A letter or notice from your landlord or managing agent (arrears, eviction, service charge demand)

  • A Tribunal or Ombudsman document showing an approaching deadline

  • A debt collection letter relating to your housing costs

  • If you do not have a document, we may ask you to provide a short written explanation of your situation.

How do I access this service?

  1. Submit an Emergency Access Appointment Request via the booking system (if you are seeking Crisis fund Support for this service, you will need to send an email to support@rentandresolveconsultancy.co.uk)

  2. You will receive a request for documentation for verification via email.

  3. Once your documentation has been received and reviewed, you will receive an approval email (within 48 hours).

  4. Once approved, your appointment will be booked, and you will receive email confirmation.
